European Edtech Startup HeyArt will support senior citizens’ mental wellbeing

HeyArt official launch Aug 15 2022

SOFIA, Bulgaria, Aug.15, 2022HeyArt.info, an online educational platform that connects elderly citizens and supports their mental well-being through a series of art and craft courses, was launched today.

According to statistics from Eurostat  the elderly age group of 65 years above is estimated to be 20.6% of Europe’s population which is around 92 million people. It is paramount to look towards serving the elderly by aiding in uplifting their Psychological well-being.

This is what brought about HeyArt, an Edtech startup that draws inspiration from the elderly educational practices in Japan. It offers senior citizens around the world a variety of online courses for the many forms of art and craft. These include drawing, painting, digital art, sewing, and more.

A large part of HeyArt education materials are free to use – needing only registration on https://heyartcourses.com For some of the courses, after paying a small basic fee to enroll, you’ll get access to a Membership subscription level that contains a number of courses to study online. Every course contains in-depth study guides, practical assignments, and multiple-choice quizzes.

You can study from anywhere and learn at your own pace. Once the course is completed, you will receive a diploma – which certifies your new skills and knowledge.

Nikolay Nikolaev, HeyArt CEO, said: “We are inspired by the Japanese model to support and welcome senior citizens back to the learning track after they retire. This opens a whole new world for our Elderlies to contribute and live up happier. HeyArt creates a community for Art and Craft learning online.”

About HeyArt

HeyArt.info is an online educational platform that provides a wide range of different courses for senior citizens from the art and crafts industry.

Our mission is to help elderly people around the world uplift their mental health, live happier lives, and connect with others in a safe and remote learning environment.

The way Japan, one of the world’s most technologically and medically advanced countries, welcomes its older citizens back to education and supports them in all aspects of life has inspired us.

We believe age should never be a barrier. No matter the stage of life you may be in, education must always be available. It is a human right and humanity’s greatest renewable resource. It can empower you, build confidence, and help contribute to a community of well-being around the world.

The many art and craft courses on our website aim to facilitate education in this respect. They are also designed to help stimulate the minds of our students, improve their coordination, and increase muscle memory.

Some of our most popular courses include:

  • Drawing
  • Wood Crafting
  • Sewing
  • History

No prior knowledge is needed to enroll in a course. A basic level of English, an internet connection, and a passion for your chosen subject are the only things you will need to master your course.
